1인당 5만 원에 해당하는 구매 이용권,즉 쿠폰을 주겠다는 건데,통합 쿠폰이 아니라 서비스별로 쪼개 쓰는 방식이라 논란을 더 키울 여지도 있어 보입니다.

쿠팡이 개인정보 유출 피해를 본 회원들에게 한 사람에 5만 원 상당을 보상하기로 했습니다.
지난달 29일 회원 3,370만 명의 개인정보가 유출됐단 사실을 알린 지 30일 만입니다.
쿠팡은 "개인정보 유출 사고에 대한 책임을 통감하고,고객 신뢰를 복원하기 위해 1조 6,850억 원 규모의 보상안을 시행할 계획"이라고 밝혔습니다.
보상 대상은 쿠팡에서 지난달 말 개인정보가 유출됐다는 통지를 받은 쿠팡 와우,일반 회원 3,370만 명입니다.
탈퇴 회원도 보상 대상에 포함됩니다.
보상 방법은 쿠팡 구매 이용권,쿠폰 지급입니다.
내년 1월 15일부터 순차적으로 지급할 예정인데,쿠폰 구성이 논란을 키울 것으로 보입니다.
한 사람당 로켓배송과 로켓직구 등 쿠팡 전 상품 구매 이용권 5천 원,쿠팡이츠 구매 이용권 5천 원,쿠팡 트래블 상품 구매 이용권 2만 원,알럭스 상품 구매 이용권 2만 원,총 4가지로 쪼개서 지급합니다.
단일 서비스에서 5만 원을 한꺼번에 쓸 수 있는 방식이 아니어서,고객들이 체감하는 보상 범위는 줄어들 거로 보입니다.
2만 원씩 배정된 쿠팡 트래블과 알럭스는 쿠팡 쇼핑이나 쿠팡 이츠보다 이용 고객이 훨씬 적습니다.
쿠팡 쇼핑만 쓰는 고객은 사실상 5천 원을 보상받는 것과 마찬가지입니다.
쿠팡은 이번 보상안에 1조 6,850억 원을 쓴다고 밝혔지만,모든 회원이 5만 원어치 구매 이용권을 모두 사용했을 때를 가정한 금액입니다.
