(서울=연합뉴스) 김윤구 기자 = 농심은 신라면 글로벌 앰배서더 에스파와 함께 선보인 광고가 유튜브 누적 조회수 1억3천만 회를 넘겼다고 24일 밝혔다.

광고가 공개된 지 한 달 만에 거둔 성과로 역대 신라면 광고 중 최고 성적이다.

이번 광고는 정형적인 라면 광고 틀에서 벗어나 에스파의 매력을 극대화한 뮤직비디오 형태로 주목받았다.

광고의 배경 음악은 1997년 발매된 영국의 유명 팝그룹 스파이스걸스의 '스파이스 업 유어 라이프'(Spice up your life)를 에스파가 리메이크한 곡이다.

광고 속에서 라면 포장지를 열고 물을 붓는 동작을 안무로 재치 있게 표현한 '신라면 댄스'도 화제를 모았다.

농심은 광고와 함께 에스파 멤버들의 모습을 담은 '신라면 에스파 스페셜 패키지'를 중국을 시작으로 한국,유로 2024 지역 예선호주 등지에 순차적으로 선보이고 있다.

농심 관계자는 "이번 1억 뷰 돌파는 글로벌 시장에서 신라면이 단순한 식품을 넘어 하나의 문화 아이콘으로 자리 잡았음을 보여주는 사례"라며 "앞으로도 에스파와 함께 전 세계 팬들에게 K-푸드 대표 브랜드 신라면의 이미지를 더욱 확고히 할 것"이라고 말했다.
