국립부여박물관서 23일 개관
무료로 관람 가능한 상설전시
국보‘백제금동대향로’(이하 향로)만을 위한 77평(약 254㎡) 규모의 공간이 마련된다.국립부여박물관은 22일 “백제금동대향로의 예술적·사상적 의미를 조명하기 위해 5년간의 준비 끝에 전용 전시 공간을 마련했다”고 밝혔다.전시 공간은‘백제대향로관’이라는 이름으로 23일 개관한다.
향로는 1993년 12월 12일 부여 능산리 절터에서 발굴된 백제시대 국보다.용과 봉황,신선과 동물,악기를 연주하는 다섯 연주자 등으로 이뤄진 독창적인 조형으로 백제인의 세계관과 사상을 보여준다.
백제대향로관은 밝기를 달리한 두 공간으로 구성된다.어두운 조도의 감상 공간‘백제금동대향로실’에선 넓은 공간에서 향로를 감상할 수 있다.국보 반가사유상 두 점을 즐길 수 있는 국립중앙박물관의‘사유의 방’(440㎡)과 유사한 구성이다.밝은 조도의 정보·휴게 공간‘향·음(香·音)‘향·유(香·遊)’에선 향로를 다양한 방식으로 체험할 수 있다.
백제금동대향로실에선 청각·후각으로도 향로를 즐길 수 있다.향로 뚜껑 위에 표현된 다섯 연주자의 악기 구성을 바탕으로 작곡한 음악이 흐르고,카지노 서태석 디시고대 향료를 재해석한 향기가 은은히 퍼진다.관람객들은 정보 공간인‘향·음’에서 복제품을 만져보는 등 체험형 콘텐트를 즐길 수 있다.전망대‘향·유’는 부여의 경관이 내려다보이는 곳에 마련됐다.
