[헤럴드경제=윤호 기자]우주발사체 기업 이노스페이스가 20일 발사 예정이던 첫 상업발사체‘한빛-나노’에 기술적 점검 사항이 생겨 발사 시도를 중단했다.
이노스페이스에 따르면 발사체 2단 연료인 액체 메탄 탱크 충전용 밸브의 기능과 관련해 기술적 점검이 필요한 상황이다.
이노스페이스는 이날 오전 9시 30분(현지시간 19일 오후 9시 30분) 브라질 알칸타라 우주기지에서 한빛-나노를 발사할 예정이었다.
한빛-나노는 날씨와 발사장 장비 점검 등으로 두 차례 발사 시각 연기를 거쳐 오전 4시 35분 기립을 완료하고 오전 6시 17분 연료와 산화제 충전을 시작했었다.
이노스페이스는 “발사 가능 기간 내 발사 재시도 날짜는 브라질 공군과 협의 후 결정할 예정”이라고 밝혔다.
한빛-나노 발사 가능 기간은 현지 시각으로 내달 16~22일까지다.
한빛-나노 발사 연기는 이번이 세 번째다.한빛-나노는 현지시각 지난달 22일 발사를 목표로 운용되던 중 항전 장비 이상 신호를 확인해 발사를 이달 17일로 미뤘다.
이에 맞춰 15일 오전 발사대로 한빛-나노를 이송한 뒤 발사 직전 운용 절차를 수행하던 중 1단 산화제 공급계 냉각장치에 이상이 감지돼 발사가 다시 이틀 뒤로 미뤄졌다.
발사체 발사는 한 번의 시도로 성공과 실패가 결정되는 만큼 준비 과정에서 만전을 기하기 위해 발사가 미뤄지는 일은 흔하게 받아들여진다.
한빛-나노는 90㎏ 탑재체를 고도 500㎞ 태양동기궤도에 투입할 수 있는 길이 21.8m,지름 1.4m 2단형 우주 발사체다.이륙 중량은 18.8t이며 1단은 추력 25t급 하이브리드 로켓엔진 1기,구글룰렛2단은 추력 3t급 액체 메탄 로켓엔진 1기를 장착했다.
