택배노동자 과로사 대책위원회 등이 쿠팡에 심야배송 중단에 이어 2026년 설 연휴 전면 휴업도 요구하고 나섰다.쿠팡이 거부할 경우 파업 등을 통해 전면 투쟁에 나서겠다는 방침이다.
택배노동자과로사대책위원회와 시민사회단체는 8일 서울 중구 민주노총 교육장에서 기자회견을 열고 “쿠팡은 2026년 설 연휴 3일간 전면 휴업하라”고 촉구했다.단체들은 쿠팡이 이를 거부할 경우 2월 1일 서울 상경 투쟁과 파업을 예고했다.
단체들은 특히 심야·야간 배송 노동자들의 건강 악화를 문제 삼았다.“밤낮 없는 배송 구조가 누적 과로와 산업재해로 이어지고 있다”고 강조했다.최근 택배노조 등이 주장하는 심야배송 중단과 동일 선상의 요구다.
김광석 전국택배노조 위원장은 “쿠팡은 언제든 쉬고 싶을 때 쉴 수 있다고 홍보하지만,텍사스 홀덤 사이트현실은 하루만 쉬어도 배송구역을 회수당하는‘클렌징’공포와 수십만원의 용차비 부담이 따른다”며 “형식적 휴무가 아닌 회사의 공식 휴업만이 유일한 해법”이라고 주장했다.이어 “이미 다른 택배사들은 명절 연휴 휴업을 시행하고 있다”며 “쿠팡만 365일 24시간을 고집하는 건 노동자의 과로를 전제로 한 시스템”이라고 직격했다.또 "현재 진행 중인 제3차 택배 사회적 대화 기구에서 이 문제가 다뤄지고 있다"며 "우리는 회의에서 '설 연휴 3일 휴업'을 공식 요구할 것"이라고 밝혔다.
김광창 민주노총 서비스연맹 위원장은 "중독일지도 모르는 쿠팡 365일 로켓배송 시스템을 그대로 두고서는 한 걸음도 나아갈 수 없다"며 "시스템 자체를 변화시켜야 한다"고 했다.
물류업계 한 관계자는 "이번 요구가 단순한 명절 휴무 차원을 넘어‘쿠팡식 초고속 배송 모델 자체에 대한 흔들기의 연장선상"이라고 했다.
