서울 영등포구 양평역 근처 사거리에서 교통사고가 발생해 1명이 숨졌다.

19일 서울 영등포경찰서에 따르면,이날 오후 3시 25분쯤 서울 양평역 근처의 한 도로에서 승용차 1대가 신호대기 중이던 학원버스와 가로수를 들이받았다.

이 사고로 승용차 운전자인 60대 여성이 숨졌고,학원버스에 타고 있던 2명이 다쳤다.버스 안에 학생들은 타고 있지 않았던 것으로 전해졌다.

충돌 과정에서 튄 파편에 다른 승용차 1대의 유리가 파손됐고,인근에 있던 보행자 4명도 부상을 당했다.이들 모두 경상으로 생명에는 지장이 없는 것으로 파악됐다.

경찰은 폐쇄회로(CC)TV,Chipstars review차량 블랙박스 등을 확보해 정확한 사고 원인을 조사하고 있다.
