고용노동부는 김영훈 고용노동부 장관이 11일 광주광역시 서구 소재 도서관 공사현장에서 발생한 붕괴사고(4명 매몰 추정)와 관련해 류현철 산업안전보건본부장을 현장에 급파하고 신속한 사고수습을 지시했다고 밝혔다.

고용노동부는 본부와 광주지방고용노동청에 중앙산업재해수습본부 및 지역산업재해수습본부를 즉시 구성했다.

산업안전보건본부장과 중앙산업재해수습본부장인 안전보건감독국장을 현장에 급파해 신속하고 체계적인 사고 수습을 지원한다.

앞서 사고 즉시 광주지방고용노동청 근로감독관이 현장에 출동 해당 현장에 대한 전면 작업중지 조치했다.

김 장관은 이날 업무보고를 마친 직후 사고 현장을 직접 방문해 사고 수습을 지휘할 계획이라고 밝히며,“현재는 매몰돼 있는 노동자들을 신속히 구조하는 것이 무엇보다 우선되어야 할 상황으로,합법토토사이트신속하고 안전한 사고수습 및 2차 사고 예방에 총력을 다하겠다”라고 말했다.
