과학기술정보통신부는 22일부터 내년 1월 28일까지 엔비디아 첨단 그래픽처리장치(GPU)를 활용한 인공지능(AI) 연구 과제의 신청을 받는다고 밝혔습니다.

정부는 올해 1조4천600억원을 투입해 GPU 1만3천장을 확보했고 이를 네이버클라우드,카카오,검빛 경마방송NHN클라우드 데이터센터에 구축 중입니다.

이 가운데 먼저 구축되는 H200 2천296장,B200 2천40장을 활용할 산·학·연 과제를 온라인 플랫폼(AIinfrahub.kr)을 통해 공모합니다.

과제 1개당 H200은 서버 최대 32대가,검빛 경마방송B200은 최대 16대가 각각 최대 12개월 지원됩니다.

과제는 기술·사회적 파급효과,검빛 경마방송AI 생태계 기여도,수요자 역량,실현 가능성 등을 기준으로 전문가 심사를 거쳐 선정됩니다.

학계와 연구계에는 컴퓨팅 자원이 무상으로 공급되며 중소기업이나 스타트업은 시장 가격 약 5∼10% 수준의 자부담금을 내도록 한다.청년 기업은 추가로 50%를 할인합니다.
