세계 최대 가전·정보기술(IT) 전시회 'CES 2026'이 개막한 6일(현지시간) 미국 네바다주 라스베이거스 컨벤션센터 웨스트홀에 마련된 아마존의 자율주행 로보택시 죽스(ZOOX)부스에서 참관객이 시승을 위해 줄지어 서있다.이동근기자 
아마존 자율주행 자회사 죽스(Zoox)가 로보택시에 한국산 전장과 부품 조달을 추진한다.차세대 차량 통신 모듈과 공조 시스템 등 로보택시 전장·부품 확보를 타진하는 것으로 확인됐다.
아마존 죽스는 4월 미국 실리콘밸리에 국내 전장·부품 업체 30곳을 초청해 'K-모빌리티 수퍼커넥트 2026'를 개최한다.죽스가 한국 기업과 처음으로 협력을 추진하는 것으로,슬롯나라 ㅚㄴ현재 참여 기업을 모집하고 있다.
K-모빌리티 수퍼커넥트는 죽스의 로보택시 상용화 일정을 소개하고 한국산 전장·부품 개발과 기술 협력을 타진하는 자리다.구글 웨이모·테슬라 로보택시와 본격 경쟁을 앞두고 죽스가 로보택시 공급망 구축을 위해 한국 기업에 러브콜을 보낸 것이다.
죽스는 로보택시에 탑재되는 차량·사물통신(V2X) 기반 텔레매틱스 모듈·공조시스템(HVAC) 등 차량간 통신과 냉·난방 공조 관련 전장과 부품에 관심이 높은 것으로 알려졌다.
죽스는 올해 미국에서 운전대와 페달을 없앤 완전 무인 로보택시 서비스를 시작하며,슬롯나라 ㅚㄴ미국 주요 지역으로 유료 서비스 확대를 위해 캘리포니아에 로보택시 전용 공장을 설립했다.
국내 기업 관계자는 “죽스는 국내 기업 30여개를 선정할 예정으로,슬롯나라 ㅚㄴ자율주행 기술 제휴와 공동 개발을 강력하게 추진하고 있다”고 전했다.
미국에서 로보택시 상용화가 빠르게 이뤄지고 있는 만큼 죽스와의 협력이 국내 전장·부품의 현지 진출 확대로 이어질지 주목된다.
