국내외 작가·출판사 참여…체험·강연·팬미팅까지 첫날부터 북적
타이완 특별관·원화전·키즈 창작 프로그램 등 가족 관람객 몰려

제2회 '2025 부산국제아동도서전'이 11일 오전 부산 벡스코에서 공식 개막했다.올해 주제 '아이와 바다'를 중심으로 전 세계 그림책·작가·출판인이 한자리에 모여 나흘간의 축제를 이어간다.
이날 오전 벡스코 제1전시장 3홀에서 열린 개막식에서 주최 기관인 대한출판문화협회 윤철호 회장은 "바다는 무한한 세계로 나아가는 출발점이자 서로 다른 문화가 만나는 공간"이라며,"아이들에게 새로운 세계의 문을 열어주는 바다처럼,이번 도서전이 풍성한 만남의 장이 되길 바란다"고 말했다.
박형준 부산시장은 영상 축사를 통해 "부산국제아동도서전은 한국 아동도서를 세계에 알리는 중요한 무대"라며 "책과 함께 더욱 풍요로운 도시 부산이 될 수 있도록 도서전이 중심 역할을 하길 기대한다"고 밝혔다.
이어 개막을 알리는 종이비행기 날리기 세리머니가 진행됐고,부산 동래초 채리티 챔버 오케스트라의 공연으로 개막식이 마무리됐다. 
개막과 동시에 전시장 곳곳에서는 본격적인 프로그램이 시작됐다.올해 주제전시관에는 '아이와 바다'를 주제로 한 그림책 400여 권이 전시됐으며,서울국제도서전 주빈국이었던 타이완관,'한국에서 가장 즐거운 책' 선정작 10종 전시,원화전시,부산어린이신문·키즈 아틀리에 등 다채로운 공간이 운영을 시작했다.
특히 어린이 참여형 창작 공간 '키즈 아틀리에'는 대형 캔버스에 함께 그리는 '플라잉 드로잉',스스로 이야기를 구상해 그림책을 만드는 '꼬마 작가 그림책 만들기' 등 상시 프로그램을 운영하며 첫날부터 가족 단위 관람객의 발길이 이어졌다.올해 새롭게 도입된 '어린이 도슨트' 제도도 눈길을 끌었다.사전 선발된 어린이들이 전시 해설을 맡아 또래 관람객과 소통하는 모습을 보였다.
공연과 팬미팅도 풍성하다.키즈 크리에이터 '슈뻘맨',남매 크리에이터 '백앤아',게임 크리에이터 '홀릿' 등이 팬미팅과 사인회로 어린이들과 만난다.개그맨 이수경·홍현호는 '출동!역사 해결사 금쪽이 유치원' 콘텐츠를 기반으로 '금쪽이 유치원 개그 토크 쇼'를 선보인다. 
출판·저작권 마켓과 책놀이 프로그램도 활발하다.국내외 아동 전문 출판사들은 저자 사인회,북토크,마블슬롯체험 워크숍 등 100여 개 프로그램을 마련했다.일본 '원 스트로크' 고마가타 아이,타이완 탄 치엔 이옹,싱가포르 마리아 마하트 등 해외 창작자들도 색종이·허브 주머니·전통 음식 등을 활용한 체험으로 관람객과 만난다.
부산국제아동도서전은 14일까지 벡스코에서 진행되며,모든 프로그램 정보는 공식 홈페이지에서 확인할 수 있다.
