비싼 값에 주식을 사겠다는 공개매수는 주가를 끌어올리는 호재입니다.
다른 곳도 아닌 공개매수를 주관한 증권사에서 정보가 유출돼,여덟 명이 32억 원을 챙겼습니다.
송수진 기자가 취재했습니다.

미용 의료기기 업체 루트로닉입니다.
2023년 10월 상장폐지 전까지 코스닥 상장사였습니다.
상폐 넉 달 전 사모펀드 '한앤컴퍼니'가 주식 공개매수에 나섭니다.
매수 가격은 주당 36,홀덤사이트 홀덤 나라700원.
그해 최저 2만 원 선을 밑돌았던 만큼 주가엔 대형 호재였습니다.
그런데 공시 전에 정보가 새 나갔다는 게 금융위원회 조사 결과입니다.
공개매수를 주관한 NH투자증권에서 해당 업무를 담당한 투자금융부 전현직 직원 2명이었습니다.
이들은 공개매수 발표 전 루트로닉 주식을 미리 샀다가 팔아 3억 7천만 원을 남겼습니다.
여기서 그치지 않았습니다.
직원 1명이 대학 동창 등 친구 3명에게 정보를 전달했고,이 친구들이 또다시 다른 3명에게 정보를 건넸습니다.
이들 6명도 비슷한 방법으로 부당 이익 29억 원을 벌었습니다.
금융당국은 NH투자증권 전현직 직원 2명을 미공개정보 이용 혐의로 검찰에 고발했고,홀덤사이트 홀덤 나라친구 6명은 시장교란 혐의로 과징금 37억 원을 부과했습니다.
NH투자증권은 KBS에 내부 통제를 강화하고 윤리 체계를 정비하겠다고 밝혀왔습니다.
NH투자증권은 2022년 이후 공개매수 47건 중 30건을 주관했습니다.
기업금융 부문 대표였던 이 모 씨도 고려아연 등 다른 종목의 공개매수 정보를 유출한 혐의로 주가조작 근절 합동대응단의 수사를 받고 있습니다.
