"개별종목 성패 가늠 어려워,강원랜드 예약없이 입장생태계 전반 투자 유리" 세계 최대 IT(정보기술)·가전전시회 'CES 2026'을 계기로 피지컬AI(인공지능)에 대한 기대감이 증폭되면서 관련 ETF(상장지수펀드)도 상승세를 보이는 가운데 관련사업을 실질적으로 영위하는 기업을 담은 상품 수익률이 더욱 우수한 것으로 나타났다.피지컬AI의 인프라산업 격인 빅테크(대형 IT기업)를 중심으로 담은 ETF는 다소 낮은 수익률을 보였다.
15일 국내에 상장된 피지컬AI ETF 10개 중 수익률이 가장 높은 종목은 7.89%를 기록한 미래에셋자산운용의 'TIGER 코리아휴머노이드로봇산업'이다.지난 6일 상장된 'TIGER 코리아휴머노이드로봇산업'은 최근 1주일 수익률도 19.42%로 1위에 올랐다.
두 번째로 높은 상품은 2.33%를 기록한 한화자산운용의 'PLUS 글로벌휴머노이드로봇액티브'다.해당 상품은 최근 6개월간 69.47%의 수익률을 내며 피지컬AI ETF 가운데 최고순위를 기록했다.
3위는 1.86%를 기록한 삼성자산운용의 'KODEX 자율주행액티브'다.해당 종목은 최근 3개월 수익률이 47.40%로 10개 피지컬AI ETF 중 가장 높았다.이밖에도 피지컬AI ETF 당일 수익률은 KB자산운용의 'RISE 미국휴머노이드로봇'(0.12%) 'TIGER 글로벌자율주행&전기차SOLACTIVE'(0.06%) 'KODEX 미국휴머노이드로봇'(-0.51%) 등 순이었다. 국내 상장 피지컬 AI ETF 수익률/그래픽=이지혜 
피지컬AI는 지난해 1월 미국 라스베이거스에서 열린 'CES 2025'에서 젠슨 황 엔비디아 CEO(최고경영자)가 텍스트나 이미지 생성형 AI 시대를 넘어 피지컬AI의 시대라고 선언하면서 주목받았다.지난 6~9일 열린 'CES 2026'에서는 현대차그룹이 휴머노이드로봇 '아틀라스'의 구체적인 양산계획을 공개하며 재조명받았다.특히 현대차그룹이 글로벌 피지컬AI 분야에서 급부상하며 관련 로보틱스 밸류체인에 포함된 국내기업 주가가 빠르게 상승했다.
이에 최근 높은 상승세를 보이는 상품은 국내 피지컬AI 종목을 담은 'TIGER 코리아휴머노이드로봇산업'이다.해당 상품은 레인보우로보틱스·로보티즈·두산로보틱스·에스피지·현대오토에버·유진로봇 등 국내 휴머노이드로봇 밸류체인에 집중투자한다.주가상승률이 두 번째로 높은 'PLUS 글로벌휴머노이드로봇액티브'도 미국·중국 기업뿐만 아니라 레인보우로보틱스·로보티즈·현대차·현대모비스·HL만도 등 한국 기업이 고루 담았다.
반면 상대적으로 수익률이 낮은 상품은 로보틱스 밸류체인보다 AI 관련 비중이 더 높다.'ACE 글로벌자율주행액티브'는 테슬라 비중이 15.35%로 가장 높지만 알파벳(구글)·엔비디아·팔란티어·알리바바·암(Arm)을 포트폴리오 상위권으로 가져간다.'HANARO 글로벌피지컬AI액티브'도 알파벳(구글)·마이크로소프트·테슬라·엔비디아·애플·브로드컴 등 빅테크 비중이 높다.중국 휴머노이드로봇은 지난해말 중국 정부가 저품질 로봇이 늘어나는 것을 경고하며 급락한 영향을 받는 것으로 추정된다.
금정섭 한화자산운용 ETF사업본부장은 "올해는 피지컬AI 경쟁 본격화의 원년이 될 것"이라며 "산업성장 초기에는 개별기업의 성패를 가늠하기가 쉽지 않기에 생태계 전반에 투자하는 ETF를 통해 성장의 과실을 폭넓게 누리는 것이 좋은 전략이 될 것"이라고 했다.
