방산 기업이 영주에 역대 최대 규모의 투자를 실시한다.
경상북도는 15일 영주시,블랙 포커 먹튀㈜코리아디펜스인더스트리와 역대 최대 규모의 투자양해각서를 체결했다고 밝혔다.
탄두,유도탄,드론 등을 제작하고 개발하는 ㈜코리아디펜스인더스트리는 2031년까지 2200억원을 투자해 문수면 122만㎡에 최첨단 방위산업 공장을 조성할 계획이다.
사업 과정에서 안전성 검토와 안전진단을 위해 국방과학연구소,한국무기체계안전협회 등과 협력한다.
이번 투자로 약 400명의 일자리 창출,650명 이상의 정주 인구 증가,2천명 이상의 건설 인력 고용 유발 등이 기대된다.
지방세수는 263억원 증가할 것으로 예상되고 생산유발효과는 4155억원에 달할 것으로 보인다.
경북도는 "영주가 국가 전략산업인 방위산업의 중심지로 도약하는 전환점이 될 전망"이라고 기대했다.
특히 영주시가 추진 중인 드론 실기시험평가센터,국가산단 조성 사업 등과 연계되면 첨단 국방산업 도시로서 영주의 역할이 커질 것으로 전망된다.
정정모 ㈜코리아디펜스인더스트리 대표이사는 "영주 공장 신설을 통해 생산능력을 대폭 확대하고 글로벌 수준의 방산 생산기지를 구축하여 국가 전략산업 발전에 이바지하겠다"고 전했다.
이철우 경상북도지사는 "영주는 드론·항공·방산이 결합한 첨단 국방산업 도시로 성장하고 있으며,이번 투자는 북부권 제조 생태계 확장과 지역 인구 유입에 결정적 역할을 할 것"이라며 "기업이 불편하지 않도록 최선을 다해 지원하겠다"고 말했다.

This is without question the absolute coolest self-care item I have ever purchased. Even without the sleep tracking, I still feel this statement holds true.
