[앵커]
통일교 정교유착 의혹의 핵심인물인 윤영호 통일교 전 본부장이 오늘 재판에서 다시 입을 열었습니다.2022년 대선을 앞두고 열린 통일교 행사와 관련해 당시 윤석열,돌림판 룰렛이재명 후보 측 모두가 연락을 해왔다는 건데,이 후보 측은 일정이 맞지 않자 마이크 펜스 전 미국 부통령과 비대면 면담을 제안했다고 주장했습니다.

대선을 앞둔 2022년 2월 통일교 행사에 마이크 펜스 전 미국 부통령이 참석했습니다.

"북한이 핵과 미사일 능력을 가공할만한 수준으로 끌어올려…평화는 미국이 강할 때 가능합니다."
이틀 뒤 윤석열 당시 국민의힘 후보는 롯데시그니엘호텔에서 펜스 전 부통령과 면담했습니다.
윤영호 전 통일교 본부장은 오늘 재판에서 이 행사와 관련해 "윤석열 후보와 이재명 후보 쪽 모두 연락이 왔다"고 했습니다.
"2월 8일 이재명 캠프에서 '후보 본인이 참석하겠다'고 연락이 왔다"고 했습니다.
그러다 일정이 맞지 않자 이 후보 측이 "제주도에 있어서 비대면으로 하면 좋겠다"고 제안했고,윤 전 본부장은 "비대면은 레코딩(기록)되는 것이 문제니 펜스 측에 물어봐야한다"고 했다고 주장했습니다.
결국 대담은 성사되지 않았지만,"최근에 이슈가 된 민주당 캠프 두 명을 연결해줬다"고 덧붙였습니다.
윤 전 본부장 주장에 대해 대통령실은 "당에 문의할 사안"이라고 했고,돌림판 룰렛민주당은 "그럴 가능성이 거의 희박하다"고 밝혔습니다.
