팝스타 머라이어 캐리의 캐럴 'All I Want for Christmas Is You'가 미국 빌보드 싱글 차트 '핫 100'에서 신기록을 썼습니다.

15일(현지 시각) 빌보드에 따르면 'All I Want for Christmas Is You'는 지난주에 이어 빌보드 메인 싱글 차트 '핫 100' 정상을 지키며 비연속 통산 20주째 1위를 기록했습니다.

이로써 이 노래는 빌보드 차트 67년 역사상 최장 기간 '핫 100' 1위를 기록한 노래로 등극했습니다.

종전 최장 기록은 지난해 샤부지의 'A Bar Song'과 2019년 릴 나스 엑스의 'Old Town Road'가 기록한 19주 1위였습니다.

빌보드는 "캐리가 '핫 100' 최장기 1위 기록을 세운 것은 이번이 두 번째"라며 "그는 보이즈 투 멘과 발표한 '원 스위트 데이'(One Sweet Day)로 1995∼1996년 16주 1위를 기록해 당시 최장 기록을 수립했다"고 설명했습니다.

빌보드 '핫 100'은 미국 스트리밍 데이터,라디오 방송 점수(에어플레이),토토총판 후기판매량 데이터를 종합해 순위를 집계합니다.

'All I Want for Christmas Is You'는 이번 차트 집계 기간 전주 대비 17％ 상승한 3,950만 스트리밍을 기록했습니다.

라디오 방송 점수는 1％ 오른 2,토토총판 후기260만,토토총판 후기판매량은 3％ 오른 3천이었습니다.

'All I Want for Christmas Is You'는 1994년 캐리가 발표한 캐럴 앨범 '메리 크리스마스'(Merry Christmas) 수록곡으로 2019년 처음 '핫 100' 정상을 밟았습니다.

그해 3주간 1위를 기록했던 이 노래는 이후 2020년 2주 1위,토토총판 후기2021년 3주 1위를 기록하는 등 올해까지 7년째 매년 연말 싱글 차트 정상에 오르며 꾸준한 인기를 누렸습니다.

이번 주 '핫 100'에서는 캐리를 포함해 총 8곡의 캐럴이 '톱 10'에 자리했습니다.

브렌다 리의 'Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree'가 2위,왬의 'Last Christmas'가 3위를 각각 마크했습니다.
