뉴시스2024년 건강검진을 받은 국민 10명 중 7명은 복부 비만,P2E 게임높은 혈압과 혈당 등 대사증후군 위험 요인을 1개 이상 보유한 것으로 나타났다.대사증후군은 심혈관계 질환과 암 유병률을 높일 수 있어 주의가 필요하다.

31일 국민건강보험공단이 발표한‘2024 건강검진 통계연보’에 따르면 지난해 일반건강검진 수검자 약 1752만 명 중 69.8%가 대사증후군 위험 요인을 갖고 있었다.남성이 78.6%,여성 60.4%로 남성이 더 취약했다.이중 위험 항목이 3개 이상인 대사증후군 환자는 23.9%,P2E 게임1~2개인 대사증후군 주의군은 45.9%로 집계됐다.진단 항목 중에는 고혈압(45.1%) 환자가 가장 많았고.고혈당(41.1%),P2E 게임복부 비만(26.3%) 순이었다.

전반적인 건강 상태도 나빠졌다.검진에서‘정상’판정을 받은 비율은 2020년 42.2%에서 2024년 39.1%로 3.1%포인트 줄었다.반면‘질환 보유’판정은 같은 기간 24.6%에서 28.9%로 4.3%포인트 증가했다.질환 의심자는 2024년 32%로 큰 변화가 없었다.

전문가들은 잘못된 식습관과 부족한 활동량 등이 대사증후군을 비롯해 건강 악화를 초래한다는 지적이 나온다.심경원 이대목동병원 가정의학과 교수는 “즉석식품을 많이 섭취하고 불규칙한 생활 속에 수면도 부족해지면서 중년층 이상에서 나타나던 대사증후군 및 건강 이상 현상이 젊은 층에서도 다수 나타난다”며 “시간을 내 꾸준히 운동하기 어렵다면 계단 오르내리기 등 생활 속에서 활동량을 늘려야 한다”고 말했다.
