[헤럴드경제=안대용 기자] 12·3 비상계엄 사태 관련 내란 및 외환 혐의 관련 사안을 수사 중인 조은석 특별검사팀(내란특검팀)이 13일 김용현 전 국방부 장관을 추가 기소했다.
내란특검은 이날 오후 언론 공지를 통해 군형법상 군기누설 및 개인정보보호법 위반 혐의로 김 전 장관을 기소했다고 밝혔다.
특검에 따르면 김 전 장관은‘제2수사단’을 구성하기 위해 지난해 10~11월 문상호 전 정보사령관,김봉규·정성욱 정보사 대령과 순차 공모해 정보사령부 요원 40여 명의 명단 등 인적사항을 노상원 전 정보사령관에게 누설한 혐의를 받는다.해당 명단에는 특수부대 HID 요원도 포함돼 있었다고 한다.
이미 전역한 상태로 민간인 신분이던 노 전 사령관에게 군 내부 정보를 넘긴 행위가 위법하다는 게 특검 판단이다.특검은 계엄 선포시 합동수사본부 합수단과 별개로 부정선거 의혹 등 수사를 위한 제2수사단을 구성하기 위해 정보사 요원들의 인적 정보를 넘긴 것으로 보고 있다.
앞서 특검은 노 전 사령관에 대해 지난 6월 개인정보보호법 위반 등 혐의로 기소한 바 있다.지난달 이 사건 결심에서 특검팀은 “민간인인데도 전직 사령관 지위를 이용해 내밀 정보를 수집하고 국가 위기를 초래한 내란 사건을 사전 준비하고 결행했다”며 노 전 사령관에 대해 징역 3년을 선고해달라고 요청했다.
