(서울=연합뉴스) 조성미 기자 = 삼성전자가 두 번 접는 형태의 폴더블 스마트폰 '갤럭시 Z 트라이폴드'의 국내 판매를 시작하자 첫 날 준비된 물량이 빠르게 소진되며 흥행 조짐을 보였다.
정보통신(IT) 업계에 따르면 이날 삼성전자가 삼성닷컴과 삼성전자 강남 매장 등 전국 20개 매장에서 갤럭시 Z 트라이폴드 판매를 시작하자 온라인에서는 개시 5분만에 모든 제품이 팔려 나갔다.
매장에서도 준비된 물량이 개점 직후 모두 판매됐다.
판매 전 삼성 강남,홍대 등 주요 매장 앞에서 앞에서 수십 명 대기 줄이 늘어서며 새로운 폼팩터에 대한 기대가 엿보이기도 했다.
추가 물량 입고는 다음 주 중 이뤄질 것으로 보여 내주 초에는 재고 품귀 가능성도 있는 것으로 알려졌다.
트라이폴드는 펼치면 253㎜(10인치) 대화면이,온라인 슬롯 게임 무료 스핀접으면 폴드7과 동일한 164.8㎜(6.5인치) 바 타입 화면이 되는 새로운 폼팩터의 스마트폰이다.

삼성전자는 디스플레이 파손 시 수리비 50% 할인 혜택을 제공한다고 밝혔다.스마트폰 보증 서비스인 삼성케어플러스는 적용되지 않는다.
아울러 이 제품은 통신사 연계가 아닌 완전 자급제로만 판매된다.
삼성전자는 트라이폴드에 최대 3개의 앱을 나란히 실행할 수 있는 멀티 윈도 기능을 강화했고 삼성 기본 앱과 갤럭시 AI 기능도 대화면에 최적화했다고 설명했다.
또,트라이폴드의 대화면 활용성을 극대화해 갤럭시 스마트폰 최초로 태블릿 버전의 '삼성 덱스'를 지원한다.기기를 외부 디스플레이나 마우스,키보드 등과 연결해 사용할 수 있다.
