거래소 "제도개선 검토 예정" 코스피가 70%대 수익을 보인 상황에서 대형주들이 연이어 투자경고 종목으로 지정되자 투자자들 사이에서 불만이 커진다.
11일 한국거래소는 SK하이닉스와 SK스퀘어를 투자경고 종목으로 지정했다고 밝혔다.전날 기준 종가가 1년 전 대비 200% 이상 상승하고 최근 15일 종가 가운데 최고가를 기록했다는 이유에서다.
AI(인공지능) 랠리와 메모리업황 전반에 유례없는 슈퍼사이클이 도래했다는 분석이 확산하며 SK하이닉스 주가는 1년 새 230%가량 올랐다.SK스퀘어도 SK하이닉스 훈풍과 상법개정 이슈로 같은 기간에 290% 상승했다.
이날 투자경고 종목 지정과 선물·옵션만기가 겹치는 '네 마녀의 날' 영향으로 SK하이닉스는 장중 낙폭을 키워 전일 대비 2만2000원(3.75%) 하락한 56만5000원에 거래를 마쳤다.SK스퀘어는 1만6500원(5.09%) 내린 30만7500원에 마감했다. 12월 투자경고 지정 종목 현황/그래픽=임종철 
투자자들 사이에서는 코스피가 한 해 강세를 보이며 과거와 달리 실적이 뒷받침되는 대형주들이 연이어 투자경고 종목으로 지정되자 불만이 나온다.
한 SK하이닉스 투자자는 "엔비디아나 과거 테슬라 주가가 수백 퍼센트 상승할 때 투자경고 종목에 지정됐다는 말을 들어본 적이 없다"고 했다.이어 "수년간 주가가 박스권에 묶여 제 가치를 인정받지 못하던 기업이 최근 재평가를 통해 정상화되고 있는데 오히려 투자경고 종목에 지정돼 한국증시 매력이 떨어지고 있다"며 "증권사가 제시한 SK하이닉스 목표가가 현 주가보다 높은데 경고조치가 나온 건 과도하다"고 말했다.
투자경고 종목은 소수계좌에 매매가 쏠리거나 주가가 급격히 뛰어 불공정거래 가능성이 있다고 판단될 때 거래소가 해당 종목을 지정,3d 슬롯 게임투자자에게 주의를 요구하는 제도다.그간 시가총액이 작은 코스닥 상장사 중에서 변동성이 큰 종목들이 주로 지정됐다.시장과열을 완화하고 이상거래를 조기에 경고하는 순기능을 가져왔다.

시가총액 19조5583억원에 달하는 현대로템은 전날 투자경고 종목에 지정됐고 시가총액 46조6133억원의 한화에어로스페이스도 같은 날 주가급등으로 투자주의 종목에 지정됐다.지난 8일에는 시가총액 49조5154억원 규모의 두산에너빌리티가 투자경고 종목에 이름을 올렸다.
거래소는 제도개선을 추진하기로 했다.거래소는 "오늘 SK하이닉스 매매상황을 고려해 투자경고 종목(초장기상승·불건전요건) 지정요건을 단순수익률이 아닌 주가지수 대비 초과수익률을 기준으로 변경하거나 시가총액 상위종목은 제외하는 방식으로 제도개선을 검토할 예정"이라고 밝혔다.
