(서울=연합뉴스) 한주홍 기자 = 농림축산식품부는 내년 농어촌 기본소득 시범사업 시행을 앞두고 경제·인문사회연구원(경인사연)과 함께 '농어촌 기본소득 시범사업 성과창출 협의체 출범식'을 29일 개최했다고 밝혔다.
출범식에는 송미령 농식품부 장관과 이한주 경인사연 이사장을 비롯해 경제·인문사회연구회(NRC) 농촌 기본사회 연구단,사업 대상 10개 군 군수와 관할 광역 지방정부 관계자,관련 전문가 등 100여명이 참석했다.
농식품부는 시범사업 대상 10개 군의 지역별 특성을 반영한 농어촌 기본소득 정책 모델을 운영할 계획이라고 설명했다.
아울러 농어촌 기본소득 지원에 대한 법적 근거를 마련하기 위해 관련 법률 제정을 내년에 마무리할 방침이다.
경인사연은 농촌 기본사회 연구단을 통해 시범사업 평가를 위한 방법과 지표를 사전에 마련하고,정책 효과를 심층 분석할 예정이다.
농식품부는 이를 토대로 사회적 논의 및 공론화 과정을 거쳐 본사업 방향을 오는 2027년까지 검토할 계획이다.
송 장관은 "농어촌 기본소득이 소멸 위기 지역 활력 회복의 원동력으로서 국가 균형발전의 초석이 될 수 있도록 필요한 모든 정책적 지원을 아끼지 않겠다"고 밝혔다.
