김성현 KB증권 대표가 KB금융지주 기업투자금융(CIB)부문장에 올랐다.금융지주 차원의 기업금융 컨트롤타워 역할을 맡게 됐다.

18일 KB금융지주는 CIB 부문을 신설하고 부문장에 김 대표를 선임하는 내용의 임원인사를 발표했다.CIB부문장은 금융그룹 내 기업금융과 투자금융을 통합 관리하는 최고 책임자로,은행과 증권 등 계열사 간 시너지를 극대화하고 기업 고객의 다양한 금융 수요를 종합적으로 지원하는 역할을 담당한다.

KB금융지주에는 부회장급 CIB부문장이 별도로 존재하지 않는 만큼,무료 고스톱 게임그룹 안팎에서는 오랜 기간 증권사를 이끌며 IB와 자본시장 전반에 대한 이해도가 높은 김 대표가 적임자라는 평가가 나왔다.

KB금융그룹의 계열사 간 인재 교류 확대 기조와도 맞닿아 있다.지난해에는 심재송 KB증권 IB2총괄본부장이 KB국민은행 CIB영업그룹 부행장으로 이동한 바 있다.은행과 증권 간 인적 교류를 통해 그룹 차원의 기업금융 경쟁력을 강화하겠다는 전략이 이어지고 있다는 분석이다.

김 대표가 지주 부문장에 오르면 KB금융지주는 총 3명의 부문장을 두게 된다.이재근 부문장은 글로벌 사업부문을,이창권 부문장은 디지털·IT 부문을 맡고 있다.

한편 이날 KB증권은 주태영 IB부문장(전무)를 부사장으로 승진시키는 등의 임원 인사를 함께 발표했다.쌍용증권(현 신한투자증권)에서 증권업을 시작한 주 전무는 2010년부터 KB투자증권(현 KB증권)으로 옮겨와 기업금융 한 길을 팠다.2017년 기업금융2부장 상무보,2019년 기업금융1본부장 상무를 거쳐 2022년 전무로 승진했다.
