쿠팡에서 일하다 숨진 노동자들의 유가족들이 30일 국회에서 더불어민주당 주도로 열린 '쿠팡 사태 연석 청문회'에서 철저한 진상규명과 처벌,김사부 카지노쿠팡 측의 사과와 보상을 요구했다.
이날 쿠팡 칠곡물류센터 소속 노동자 고(故) 장덕준 씨 모친 박미숙 씨는 최근 언론을 통해 제기된 김범석 쿠팡Inc 의장의 장 씨 사망 사건 축소·은폐 지시 의혹과 관련해 "덕준이 죽음의 진실을 밝히려 무릎을 꿇고 고개를 숙이며 전국을 돌며 거리를 헤매던 그 모든 순간이 김범석의 한 마디에서 시작됐다는 사실에 분노가 치밀고 잠을 잘 수 없다"고 분개했다.
그러면서 "너무 괘씸하고 분하고 정말 용서할 수 없다.제발 좀 김범석을 잡아달라"고 호소했다.증인·참고인으로 출석한 쿠팡 관계자들을 향해 "이 X자식들아"라고 소리치기도 했다.
또한 전날 공개된 개인정보 유출 사태에 대한 김 의장의 사과문을 거론한 박 씨는 "지금까지 쿠팡을 위해 뛰어다니다 쓰러져간 수많은 노동자에 대한 사과 한마디 없음에 경악하지 않을 수 없다"며 김 의장의 산재 은폐 의혹,김사부 카지노쿠팡의 노동환경 등에 대한 진상규명과 처벌을 촉구하기도 했다.
