ESS 화재 예방·안전 관리 체계 고도화 맞손

시장조사기관 SNE리서치 등에 따르면 글로벌 ESS 설치량의 90% 이상이 LFP 배터리다.삼원계 배터리보다 원가 경쟁력이 높고,화재 위험이 낮아 글로벌 ESS 시장의 '대세'로 꼽힌다.
김동명 CEO는 "이번 협약을 바탕으로 LG에너지솔루션 배터리를 사용한 ESS 사이트에 최고 수준의 안전 기준을 적용하고,국내 ESS용 LFP 배터리 안전 체계 및 생태계 구축을 위해 최선의 노력을 다할 것"이라고 말했다.
