서울동부지검 합동수사단(합수단)에 파견돼‘세관 마약수사 은폐 의혹’을 수사 중인 백해룡 경정이 고위공직자범죄수사처(공수처)에 영장을 신청했으나 접수 단계에서 막혔다며 반발했다.
백 경정은 27일 자신의 사회관계망서비스(SNS)에 글을 올려 23일 공수처에 압수수색 영장을 신청했으나‘접수 보류’됐다고 밝혔다.백 경정에 따르면 공수처는 백 경정 수사팀 존재의 불명확성과 영장 신청서 수신처가 ‘서울동부지방검찰청 검사장’으로 인쇄돼 있다는 점 등 절차상 하자를 이유로 접수가 어렵다고 했다.

합수단은 대검찰청에 백 경정의 파견 해제를 요청하는 방안을 내부 검토 중이다.백 경정과 합수단은 세관 직원들에 대한 마약 의혹 무혐의 처분,수사자료 공개와 영장 기각 등을 두고 공방을 벌여왔다.합수단은 마약 수사 외압 의혹의 고발 당사자인 백 경정이 외압 의혹을 직접 수사할 수 없다는 입장이다.반면 백 경정은 경찰과 검찰 모두 수사대상이 돼야 한다며 반발하고 있다.
