다카이치 사나에 일본 총리가 내년 이른 시기에 미국을 방문해 도널드 트럼프 대통령과 회담하는 방향으로 조율 중이라고 밝혔습니다.

교도통신 등에 따르면 다카이치 총리는 오늘(25일) 도쿄에서 열린 한 강연회에서 "미국과 다양한 레벨에서 긴밀히 의사소통하고 있다"며 이같이 말했습니다.

예상되는 방미 시기로는 "내년 비교적 이른 시기"라고만 언급했습니다.

내년 4월 트럼프 대통령이 중국을 방문하기 전에 미일 정상회담을 열어 양국 동맹의 결속을 확인하고 대중 정책을 둘러싼 양국 간 의견을 조율한다는 게 일본 정부의 방침이라는 설명입니다.
