24일 국내 5개 완성차 업체 판매량을 집계한 결과 기아 쏘렌토는 올해 1∼11월 국내에서 모두 9만526대가 팔려 누적 판매량 1위에 올랐다.2위는 7만2558대가 팔린 현대차 아반떼가 차지했다.
쏘렌토와 아반떼의 판매량 차이는 1만7968대다.두 차종의 월간 판매량을 고려할 때 올해 아반떼는 쏘렌토 판매량을 뒤집지 못할 것으로 보여 쏘렌토가 베스트셀링카로 등극할 것이 확실해 보인다.
쏘렌토는 지난해에도 레저용 차량(RV)임에도 국내에서 가장 많이 팔린 차로 기록됐다.
지난해 쏘렌토 판매량은 9만4538대로 10만대는 넘지 못했다.이 때문에 올해는 10만대를 돌파할 것인지에 대한 관심도 커지고 있다. 미국에 수출되는 엘란트라(아반떼).현대차 제공 
세단 모델인 아반떼는 RV와 대형차가 인기를 끌고 있음에도 2위를 차지했다.아반떼는 국내에서 엔트리카(최초 구입 차량)로 인기가 높다.
아반떼는 2011년 13만751대로 연간 판매량 1위를 차지하기도 했다.이후 RV와 대형차 인기가 높아지면서 2010년대 후반부터 5위권 밖으로 맴돌다 지난해에는 9위(5만6890대)까지 떨어졌다.
경기가 나빠지고 서민들 살림살이가 팍팍해지면서 가성비가 좋고 연비도 높은 아반떼에 소비자들의 관심이 쏠린 것으로 보인다.
신형 아반떼는 첨단주행보조기능(ADAS)을 갖추고 인포테인먼트 패키지도 확충해 소비자들의 호응을 얻고 있다.가솔린 모델 외에도 하이브리드와 고성능 N 차량 등 다양한 모델을 보유한 것도 인기 비결 중 하나다.
현재 3위에는 기아 카니발(7만2289대)이 자리 잡고 있다.아반떼와는 판매량이 269대에 불과해 순위 추월 가능성도 있다.

This is without question the absolute coolest self-care item I have ever purchased. Even without the sleep tracking, I still feel this statement holds true.
