엘앤에프는 29일 2023년 2월 체결한 북미 전기차 업체와의 하이니켈 양극재 공급 계약 금액을 기존 3조8347억원에서 973만원으로 정정했다고 공시했다.
해당 계약은 2024년 초부터 2025년 말까지 2년간 양극재를 공급하는 내용으로 공시됐으며 이달 말까지 공급이 예정돼 있었다.그러나 실제 누적 공급 금액은 973만원에 그쳐 당초 기대됐던 대규모 매출은 발생하지 않았다.
이는 글로벌 전기차 수요 둔화와 북미 시장을 중심으로 한 배터리 공급망 조정이 계약 이행에 직접적인 영향을 준 것으로 해석된다.
엘앤에프는 "글로벌 전기차 시장과 배터리 공급 환경 변화 속에서 불가피하게 공급 물량이 변동됐다"고 설명했다.
다만 "당사의 주력 제품인 NCMA95 하이니켈 제품의 출하 및 고객 공급에는 어떠한 변동도 없다"며 "한국 주요 배터리 셀 업체향 출하 역시 안정적으로 진행되고 있다"고 해명했다.
