의정부지검 형사3부(구민기 부장검사)는 22일 아동학대살해 등 혐의로 친모 A(25)씨와 계부 B(33)씨를 구속기소 했다고 밝혔다.

또,학대 후 '멍 크림'을 검색하고 상처를 숨기려 어린이집에 보내지 않은 사실을 확인한 경찰은 A씨와 B씨가 함께 C양을 학대 살인한 것으로 보고 둘 다 구속해 사건을 송치했다.
검찰은 이들의 주거지 CCTV 영상 등을 분석해 A씨와 B씨가 상습적으로 아이를 혼자 두고 외출한 사실을 추가로 확인하고 상습 아동 유기와 방임 혐의도 적용했다.
검찰 관계자는 "죄에 상응하는 형이 선고될 수 있도록 공소유지에 만전을 기하고,향후에도 아동학대범죄에 대하여 엄정히 대응하겠다"고 밝혔다.
A씨는 지난해 6월 전 남편과의 사이에서 C양을 낳았으며,사실혼 관계인 B씨와 지난해 11월부터 함께 살았던 것으로 조사됐다.
A씨는 현재 임신 8개월 차로 내년 1월 출산 예정인 것으로 전해졌다.
