오늘 새벽 서산-영덕 고속도로 남상주 나들목 부근에서 차량 20여 대가 여러 곳에서 연쇄 추돌하는 사고가 발생했습니다.5명이 숨지고 8명이 다쳤는데,나인 에이전시비슷한 시각 인근 경북 성주에서도 화물차 사고가 잇따라 2명이 숨졌습니다.밤사이 비가 내린 가운데 기온이 떨어지면서 도로가 얼어붙은 상태였습니다.

달리던 차량 한 대가 멈춰 선 승용차를 그대로 들이받습니다.
뒤이어 또 다른 승용차도 미끄러지듯 달려와 부딪힙니다.
오늘 아침 7시쯤 서산 영덕 고속도로 남상주 나들목 인근 청주 방향에서 차량 10대가 잇따라 부딪혔습니다.

"앞에는 사고가 이미 나 있었고 저도 이제 서행을 하면서 비상등 켜고 가다가 갑자기 한순간에 브레이크가 안 먹더라고요."
이 사고로 승용차에 타고 있던 50~60대 여성 4명이 숨졌습니다.
사고 충격으로 차량 전체가 종잇장처럼 구겨져 있습니다.
2km 앞쪽에서는 화물차에서 H빔이 떨어지며 차량 4대가 부딪혔습니다.
반대편 차선인 영덕 방향에서도 사고가 잇따랐습니다.
승용차를 들이받은 화물차가 도로 아래로 추락하면서 40대 화물차 운전자가 숨졌습니다.

"사고가 너무 많아 가지고,나인 에이전시(견인) 나온 차는 한 30대 정도 되는 것 같아요."
남상주 나들목 근처에서 동시다발적으로 추돌 사고가 발생했는데,나인 에이전시집계된 피해 차량만 20여 대에 달합니다.
사고 현장 주변에는 밤사이 비가 내리고 추워지면서 도로가 얼어붙은 상태였습니다.
비슷한 시각 경북 성주에서도 25톤 화물차 2대가 얼어붙은 도로에서 각각 미끄러져,50대 운전자 2명이 숨졌습니다.
