우선협상대상자에 H&Q파트너스한화그룹 오너 3세인 김동선 한화갤러리아 부사장이 국내에 처음 도입한 미국 버거 브랜드 '파이브가이즈(Five Guys)'가 사모펀드(PEF)에 팔린다.시장에 매물로 나온 지 5개월 만이다.
17일 금융감독원 전자공시시스템에 따르면 한화갤러리아는 이날 에이치앤큐에쿼티파트너스(H&Q에쿼티파트너스)와 지분 매각 관련 양해각서(MOU)를 체결했다고 공시했다.이번 MOU 체결에 따라 향후 실사 과정을 거쳐 본계약을 체결할 예정이다.다만 금액 등 구체적인 사항은 확정되지 않았다. 파이브가이즈 여주 매장 전경.에프지코리아 제공 
파이브가이즈는 김승연 한화 회장의 셋째 아들인 김 부사장이 2023년 6월 국내에 처음으로 들여온 브랜드다.김 부사장이 시도한 '첫 신사업'으로 주목을 받으며 점포 수와 매출 등 외연 확장을 이어왔다.파이브가이즈의 지난해 매출은 465억원으로 전년 대비 365% 증가했고,라이브 카지노 무료 보너스영업이익은 34억원으로 흑자 전환했다.

향후 파이브가이즈 매각 자금은 압구정 갤러리아 백화점 재건축 자금 등 한화갤러리아의 본업 경쟁력 강화에 쓰일 것으로 보인다.
한화갤러리아 관계자는 "티저레터 배포 후 다수의 기업 및 투자자들이 큰 관심을 보여줬으나,한국 파이브가이즈의 성과와 미래 성장 가능성을 높이 평가하며 적극적인 사업 의지를 보인 에이치앤큐를 우선협상대상자로 선정하게 됐다"며 "구체적인 내용은 실사 등 본격적인 절차를 진행하면서 협의해 나갈 것"이라고 말했다.
