SOOP 제작 환경 기반으로 선수단 콘텐츠 추진SOOP은 e스포츠 구단 '디플러스 기아'와 3년간 스트리밍 및 콘텐츠 제작 파트너십을 체결했다고 19일 밝혔다.이번 파트너십으로 2026년부터 2028년까지 SOOP에서 디플러스 기아 선수단의 개인 방송과 다양한 신규 콘텐츠를 즐길 수 있게 됐다.

디플러스 기아는 2017년 창단 이후 '리그 오브 레전드(LoL)'를 비롯해 다양한 e스포츠 종목에서 활약해온 프로게임단으로,선수단 중심의 콘텐츠와 팬 경험 확장을 꾸준히 시도해왔다.

양사는 서로의 노하우를 집약해 새로운 형태의 창의적인 콘텐츠를 구현할 게획이다.SOOP은 자회사 프리컷(freecut)과 함께 선수단 활용 콘텐츠를 강화한다.정규 편성 콘텐츠,유로 2024 한국신작 프로그램,유로 2024 한국팬 참여형 콘텐츠 등 다양한 포맷을 단계적으로 도입해,팬들이 선수들의 모습을 더 가까이에서 즐길 수 있도록 할 계획이다.또한 선수 개개인의 기량과 개성을 드러낼 수 있는 새로운 촬영 기반 콘텐츠도 준비 중이다.

정식 계약에 앞서 12월 27일 LCK 아레나에서 팬밋업 행사가 진행되며,선수들은 27일과 28일 양일간 사전 방송을 통해 팬들과 소통을 진행할 예정이다.

SOOP은 이번 파트너십을 통해 디플러스 기아 선수들이 팬들과 활발히 소통할 수 있는 제작 환경을 구축하고,유로 2024 한국장기적 관점에서 팀 브랜딩 및 팬 경험 확장을 지원할 예정이다.
