[파이낸셜뉴스] 일본은행의 기준금리 인상에도 엔화 약세 기조가 이어지고 있다.

19일(현지시간) 뉴욕 외환시장에서 엔·달러 환율은 1달러당 157엔대 후반까지 올랐다.

엔화 가치는 전일보다 달러당 2엔 정도 하락하며,디파인 카지노약 한 달 만의 최저 수준이 됐다.

이날 엔화는 유로화에 대해서는 184엔대 후반까지 올라 엔화 가치는 1999년 유로화 도입 이후 역대 최저를 경신했다.

미 금융정보서비스 업체인 스톤X그룹의 애널리스트는 "우에다 가즈오 일본은행 총재가 앞으로도 신중한 자세를 유지하면 엔저는 더 진행될 것"이라고 봤고,디파인 카지노UBS글로벌 관계자는 "미국과 일본 간 금리차 축소로 앞으로 1년간 엔고가 진행될 것"이라고 말했다고 닛케이는 전했다.

앞서 일본은행은 18∼19일 금융정책결정회의를 열고 기준금리인 단기 정책금리를 종전 '0.5% 정도'에서 '0.75% 정도'로 0.25%포인트 인상하기로 했다.현재 일본 기준금리는 1995년 이후 30년 만에 최고 수준이다.
