쿠팡이 지난 2023년 취업 규칙을 개정하며 이른바 '퇴직금 리셋 규정'을 도입했습니다.그런데 취업규칙으로 바꾸기 전부터 이 규정을 이유로,쿠팡 측이 일용직 노동자에게 퇴직금을 지급하지 않았다는 취지의 진술을 특검팀이 확보한 것으로 확인됐습니다.

쿠팡 물류 자회사인 쿠팡풀필먼트서비스 일용직 노동자들에 대한 취업규칙을 바꾼 건 지난 2023년 5월입니다.
한 주에 15시간 근무를 채우지 못하면 그 시점부터 퇴직금을 다시 산정하도록 하는 '리셋 규정'이 담겼습니다.
취업규칙 변경 전부터 이 규정을 적용해 퇴직금을 지급하지 않은 사례가 있었다는 진술을 특검팀이 확보한 걸로 SBS 취재 결과 확인됐습니다.
쿠팡 자회사 인사팀 출신으로 내부 블랙리스트를 폭로했던 김준호 씨는 특검 조사에서,에이스 게임즈 토토지난 2022년 12월에서 2023년 1월 사이쯤,근무 경력이 2년가량 된 일용직 노동자가 퇴직금을 요청했지만,'리셋 규정'을 근거로 지급을 거부했다고 진술한 걸로 파악됐습니다.
변경 전 취업규칙에는 1년 넘게 일한 일용직 근로자에겐 근무시간을 정산해 퇴직금을 지급해야 하지만,에이스 게임즈 토토그렇게 하지 않았단 겁니다.
김 씨는 본사에서 받은 관련 답변을 근거로 업무를 처리했다고 설명했습니다.
특검팀은 쿠팡 측이 일용직 노동자들로부터 별도 사직서를 받고,주 52시간 근무 시간을 파악하는 등 상근 노동자처럼 관리해 온 점도 파악했습니다.
앞서 쿠팡 전,현직 노동자에게도 같은 취지의 진술을 확보한 특검팀은,쿠팡 측이 상근직처럼 관리한 일용직 노동자에게 퇴직금을 주지 않기 위한 조직적인 불법 행위가 있었는지를 확인하고 있습니다.
이에 대해 쿠팡 측은 수사 중인 사안이라 관련 답변을 하기 어렵다고 밝혔습니다.
