쿠팡 수사 무마·퇴직금 미지급 의혹을 수사하는 안권섭 특별검사팀이 24일 김동희 부산고검 검사(전 인천지검 부천지청 차장검사)에 대한 압수수색에 착수했다.
법조계에 따르면 특검팀은 이날 부산고검에 검사와 수사관을 보내 김 검사를 직권남용 혐의로 압수수색하고 있다.
김 검사는 올해 초 쿠팡의 퇴직금 미지급 의혹을 수사 중이던 문지석 부장검사에게 엄희준 당시 부천지청장과 함께 무혐의 처분을 하라고 압력을 행사한 혐의를 받는다.
의혹을 폭로한 문 부장검사는 자신과 주임 검사는 쿠팡의 취업규칙 변경이 불법이라고 주장했으나 김 전 차장이 '무혐의가 명백한 사건'이라며 회유했고,클릭 토토엄 전 지청장은 올해 2월 새로 부임한 주임 검사를 따로 불러 쿠팡 사건 무혐의 가이드라인을 줬다고 주장해왔다.
특검팀은 엄 전 지청장(현 광주고검 검사)에 대해서도 조만간 압수수색에 나설 것으로 전망된다.
