지역 체육계 인사들로부터 금전을 수수한 혐의를 받는 김영환 충북지사가 경찰에 두 번째 출석해 조사받고 있습니다.
김 지사는 오늘(21일) 오전 9시 13분 충북경찰청 반부패경제범죄수사대에 청탁금지법 위반,수뢰후부정처사 혐의 피의자 신분으로 출석했습니다.
그는 '혐의를 부인하느냐','경찰조사에서 할 말이 있느냐'는 취재진의 질문에 "혐의가 없는데 부인하고 할 게 있느냐.사실대로 이야기하겠다"고 짧게 답했습니다.
'도민께 할 말 없느냐'는 질문에는 "조사를 마친 뒤 한 말씀 드리겠다"고 말하고는 조사실로 들어갔습니다.
김 지사가 경찰에 소환돼 조사받는 것은 지난 10월에 이어 두 번째입니다.
경찰은 김 지사가 1차 조사에서 혐의를 부인한 내용에 대해 보강 수사를 거친 뒤 다시 소환한 것으로 전해졌습니다.

김 지사는 괴산에 있는 자신의 산막 인테리어비용 2천만 원을 윤 협회장으로부터 대납받은 혐의도 받고 있습니다.
경찰은 김 지사가 금전을 대가로 윤 협회장의 식품업체가 충북도의 스마트팜사업에 참가할 수 있도록 영향력을 행사하는 등 관련 편의를 제공한 것은 아닌지 의심하고 있습니다.
김 지사는 "금품을 받은 적이 없다"며 모든 혐의를 부인해 왔습니다.
