"K헤리티지 디지털 데이터와 콘텐츠 지속 확충할 것"[이데일리 손의연 기자] 국가유산청은 30일부터‘국가유산 디지털 서비스’를 전면 개편하고 20만 건의 국가유산 디지털 데이터를 추가 개방한다고 밝혔다.
(사진=국가유산청) 국가유산 디지털 서비스는 국가유산청이 지난해 5월 처음 선보이며 국가유산 디지털 데이터 48만 건을 전면 개방했다. 
이번에 추가 개방한 20만 건까지 앞으로 총 68만 건의 데이터를 누구나 자유롭게 무료로 활용할 수 있다.
이번에 추가 개방된 주요 데이터는 △국가유산의 훼손·멸실에 대비한 복원 및 보존·관리·활용을 위한‘국가유산 3D 정밀데이터’△게임·영화·엔터테인먼트 등 디지털 콘텐츠 산업에 활용 가능한‘국가유산 3D 에셋’△국가유산 학술·조사·연구·교육을 지원하는 이미지·도면·보고서 등이다.
또‘조선시대 정치국방’과‘해양유산 전통선박’등 새로운 메뉴를 통해서 △유네스코 세계유산 남한산성의 세부 시설△한·일 교류의 상징인 조선통신사선 △태안 일대 출수 해양유산 등을 살펴볼 수 있다.
산불로 전소된 의성 고운사 연수전 등 재해 문화유산의 원형을 입체적으로 확인할 수 있는‘기억유산,카지노 라울 호세명승·천연기념물을 가상현실(VR) 등 첨단 기술로 체험할 수 있는‘한국의 자연유산’등도 운영한다.

한국고고학 사전은 고고학 분야에 특화된 인공지능(AI) 서비스다.검색증강생성(RAG) 기반의 근거 중심(소스 기반) 답변을 통해 구석기·청동기시대 정보를 요약·정리하고 질의응답 생성이 가능해 연구·교육 현장에서 활용성이 기대된다.
