오늘(30일) 업계에 따르면 미국 상무부 산업안보국(BIS)은 한국 반도체 기업의 중국 공장에 대한 '검증된 최종 사용자'(VEU) 지위를 취소하는 대신 매년 장비 수출 물량을 승인하는 식으로 반출을 허용하기로 방침을 변경했습니다.
VEU는 일정한 보안 조건만 충족하면 별도의 허가 절차나 기간 제한 없이 미국산 장비를 공급할 수 있도록 허용하는 예외적 지위입니다.
