7일 TV아사히 보도에 따르면 오사카 난바역 근처에 위치한 가도야라멘 가게에서는 일본어로 표시된 라멘은 약 1000엔,영어 등 외국어로 표시된 라멘은 약 2000엔으로 책정돼 있다.
가게 측은 외국인용 라멘이 특별한 토핑과 맛을 추가한 사양이라 가격이 높다고 설명하면서도,이중가격 설정으로 인해 고객 불만 등 위험을 감수하고 있다고 밝혔다.
그러나 지난 4일 중국인 관광객이 외국인용 메뉴를 주문한 뒤 식사 후 일본인 메뉴와 차별점이 없다며 가격 차액 환불을 요구하면서 소동이 벌어졌다.
