I think it sounds good at home volumes though and definitely isn't massive overkill for sure. If you are confident that you’ll always have access to a mic at your venues, then the AC15 will be loud enough for most situations unless you want cleaner tones. Most AC15's have a Master volume you can use to control the max volume and get it to overdrive at lower levels. It still gets plenty loud and imho sounds really nice. For medium-sized venues and above, it might begin to fall short in terms of volume.
