(수원=뉴스1) 송용환 기자 = 더불어민주당 경기지역 국회의원들이 19일 경기도의회 브리핑룸에서 기자회견을 열어 이재명 대통령 사건의 공소 취소를 촉구했다.
이날 기자회견에는 경기지사 출마를 준비 중인 추미애 의원을 비롯해 김승원·이건태·한준호·김준혁 의원이 참석했다.민주당은 전북과 대전 등에서 같은 내용의 기자회견을 가진 바 있다.
추 의원은 모두발언에서 윤석열 전 대통령의 대선 과정과 그 이후의 검찰 수사를 '정적 제거'와 권력 독점의 수단으로 삼았다고 주장했다.
이어 추 의원은 "대한민국의 법치가 제대로 작동하지 않았고,윤석열은 대선 사기를 통해 국민을 속였다.또 대통령이 돼서는 검찰권을 사유화해 정적 제거에 몰두해 왔다"고 비판했다.
특히 이 대통령의 '대장동 사건'을 언급하면서 "대장동 사건에 대해 저는 법률가로서 사건의 본질을 파악한 결과 이는 이재명의 개발 비리 사건이 아니라는 결론을 내렸다"며 "검찰은 수사 과정에서 유동규의 허위 진술에만 의존했고,그에게 관대한 처분을 하기 위해 회유와 조작을 벌였다.녹취록 조작 등은 검찰권의 심각한 남용을 보여주는 사례"라고 강조했다.
