CP는 기업의 준법경영 수준과 리스크 관리 체계를 종합적으로 평가하는 제도로 공정위가 매년 CP 운영 실적에 따라 등급을 부여하고 직권조사 면제나 과징금 감경 등의 인센티브를 제공한다.
CJ대한통운은 2017년부터 CP를 도입하며 준법경영 문화를 정착시켜 왔다.뉴스레터와 사내 게시판을 통해 주요 사업과 관련된 법령과 정보를 수시로 공유하고 임직원 대상 컴플라이언스 교육을 실시하며 현장 중심의 준법경영 인식 내재화에 힘쓰고 있다.또 부서별 담당자를 지정해 업무 특성에 따른 리스크를 사전에 식별·관리하는 '컴플라이언스 코디네이터' 제도를 운영하는 등 전사 차원의 준법경영 활동을 이어가고 있다.
이같은 노력의 결과로 CJ대한통운은 2021년 국내 물류업계 최초로 ISO 37301(규범준수 경영시스템) 인증을 취득했으며 이를 5년 연속 유지하며 준법경영 활동의 우수성을 인정받고 있다.지난해 한국컴플라이언스협회가 주관한 '대한민국 컴플라이언스 어워즈'에서 기업부문 대상을 수상한 데 이어 올해 공정위 CP 등급평가를 통해 준법경영 수준을 대외적으로 다시 한번 입증했다.
