어린이들에게 큰 인기를 끌고 있는‘프린세스 캐치!티니핑’이 2026년 기념우표로 제작된다.올해 최다 관람객을 경신한 프로야구 10개 구단의 이미지도 우표로 나온다.
과학기술정보통신부 우정사업본부는 분야별 다양한 소재를 활용해 2026년 기념우표 총 16종을 발행한다고 28일 밝혔다.
기념우표는 역사적으로 중요한 인물,램 슬롯 위치사건과 뜻깊은 일을 기념하거나 국가적인 사업의 홍보,램 슬롯 위치국민 정서의 함양 등을 위해 발행한다.발행 우표는 각계 전문가로 구성된 우표발행심의위원회를 통해 심의·확정됐다.
1월에는 귀엽고 친숙한‘아기 동물’이미지를 활용해 우표를 발행한다.2월에는 2025년에 이어 제주의 자연과 문화를 담은‘제주도 오름’시리즈가 발행돼 자연과 생태 보존의 중요성을 알릴 계획이다.
5월에는 어린이날을 기념해‘프린세스 캐치!티니핑’기념우표가 나온다.6월에는 한류 열풍의 중심인‘K팝’아티스트를 소재로 기념 우표를 제작한다.현재 우표 발행을 위한 소속사와의 협의가 진행되고 있다.
7월에는 KBO(한국프로야구) 리그 10개 구단의 이미지를 넣은‘KBO 리그’기념우표를 발행할 예정이다.같은 달 한국 애니메이션의 출발점으로 평가받는‘로보트 태권브이’기념우표도 발행된다.
8월에는 백범 김구 선생 탄생 150주년을 맞아‘백범 김구’기념우표를 내놓는다.우표를 통해 김구 선생이 추구한 세계 평화의 철학을 알릴 계획이다.
10월에는 탄생 150돌을 기념한‘주시경’기념우표와‘훈맹정음(한글 점자) 반포 100주년’기념우표를 각각 발행한다.
기념우표는 가까운 총괄 우체국이나 인터넷 우체국에서 구매할 수 있다.
곽병진 우정사업본부장 직무대리는 “우표는 단순 요금 납부 증표의 의미를 넘어 우리나라의 소중한 문화를 나타낼 수 있는 수단”이라며 “앞으로도 기념 우표를 통해 우리나라를 대표하는 문화를 알릴 수 있도록 적극 노력하겠다”고 말했다.
